Kevin Hart's Hip Hop Connections

Kevin Hart discussed his connections to hip hop notables and why he believes there's a connection between hip hop and comedians. Hart says that his friendships within the hip hop community are a product of the mutual respect that he and the rappers share.

He also says that most rappers that he meets are genuinely happy for his success.

"I can't speak on [other] comedians in particular because I don't know the relationships that they have," Hart told SOHH. "I know I have relationships with a lot of entertainers, a lot of the rap artists; the reason being some of them are my friends. I've known them for a long time. A lot of these guys have seen my career grow in small steps. So it's always been love. It's never been a love-hate relationship. [Rappers have always said to me], 'Man, I'm happy for you.' So with those guys, I have their support. I fly to see my friends and they see me. It's definitely a good feeling."
